FREE & FUN – THE ULTIMATE PLAYDATE SUNDAY IS FAMILY DAY AT MAGIC CITY JAI-ALAI

Miami, Fla. – July 11, 2019 – Every Sunday is Family Day at Magic City Jai-Alai from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. through November 24. Live action jai-alai performances are the backdrop to a family-centered interactive afternoon featuring an inflatable double slide, face painting, balloon animals and more. At the end of the jai-alai games, children have the opportunity to go on the jai-alai court and meet the players. Plus, moms enjoy a pampering surprise every week!

“Family Day at Magic City is a win-win afternoon that offers refuge from the rain and South Florida heat, as parents enjoy live jai-alai and kids revel in the kid-focused attractions! It’s free to park, free to enter and free to play. It’s a great way to spend a Sunday and a fun way to introduce jai-alai to a new generation of fans,” said Scott Savin, Chief Operating Officer of Magic City Casino.

Because they’ve gotta eat, there’s also plenty of child-friendly fare at reasonable prices, and kids under 10 eat free at the Magic City buffet with the purchase of an adult buffet. It’s only $15 for an all-you-can-eat feast of delicious Brunch favorites. As if the afternoon couldn’t get sweeter, Candy Landia, a retro-inspired candy shop operated by South Florida food blogger Burger Beast, is located on the ground floor of the building and offers the kids the sugar fix they desperately seek. You’re welcome!

Magic City Casino launched the highly anticipated 2019 jai-alai season on Wednesday, July 3. The Magic City Jai-Alai roster features a dynamic lineup of 20 professional jai-alai players, many University of Miami alum, to spotlight their talents at the venue’s fronton. Magic City Jai-Alai performances will take place Wednesdays through Saturdays* at 3 p.m. & 7 p.m. (*Saturday’s 7 p.m. performance is 21 and over only) and Sundays at 1 p.m. through November 30. Players will compete in both singles and doubles format throughout the season for over $400,000 in performance-based prize money.

In addition to the season’s weekly game schedule, Magic City Jai-Alai will be presenting “The Jai” on Friday and Saturday evenings from 6 to 11 p.m. beginning July 19. “The Jai” will feature a relaxed atmosphere inside the fronton including an indoor lawn game area, a live DJ and drink specials.

Magic City Hustle, the latest feature documentary from Rakontur, the Miami media studio run by Emmy and Peabody Award-winning storytellers Billy Corben and Alfred Spellman, will be viewable through video on-demand during the month of July at www.magiccityhustle.com. Magic City Hustle debuted at the 2019 Miami Film Festival and captured the Documentary Achievement Award.
