Miami, Fla. – March 25, 2019 – Magic City Casino is proud to present Richard Marx and John Waite in concert on Saturday, April 13 (7 p.m.) at the Magic City Amphitheater for a one-night only South Florida engagement.
“Come revel in some of the most romantic ballads of the late 1980’s and early 1990’s as Richard Marx and John Waite come together in concert,” said Scott Savin, Chief Operating Officer at Magic City Casino.
The multifaceted Richard Marx is the only male recording artist in history to have his first seven singles reach the Top 5 on the Billboard charts. His soft-rock radio staples include “Hold On to the Nights,” “Satisfied” and the certified Platinum hit “Right Here Waiting.” Marx continues to collaborate with other artists and has a new compilation of music that he will be releasing in spring 2019. The body of work varies in style from guitar-driven rock to modern country.
With more than 35 years in the business, British-born rock star John Waite has created some of the most enduring and appreciated music to date. Waite was originally the frontman for influential groups like The Babys and Bad English before launching his solo career. His passion for power ballads has led to a body of work that includes “Price of Love,” “When I See You Smile” and the epic “Missing You.”
