1970’s funk band War blends a variety of musical genres, with socio-political lyrics to create a relaxed vibe that is distinctly their own. The musical ensemble has sold more than 50 million albums, including The World Is a Ghetto, which reached the No. 1 spot as Billboard Magazine’s “Album of the Year” in 1972.
